Biography

Hi I'm Jake. I am a Pitbull/ American Bulldog mix. My current owner has recently fallen very ill and will be going into hospice, so I'm looking for a new family to love. I'm very energetic and I love to run and play. I love every human I meet and want to be as close as I can to my humans. I live with a small dog and I have done well with him, but I have had a few issues with aggression with a few dogs I have met. I have a black lab friend I have been great with, and a few hound mixed dogs that I had no issues with. It really just depends on the dog so please aware this can possibly be an issue. I love all treats and of course people food if you have it. I have not had much behavioral training but I am a quick study and capable of learning what is expected of me. I have been crate trained and I do well overnight in a crate. I have been known to be a little destructive, but if you keep me busy with toys and chews it helps curb that issue. I'm a very sweet and loving boy who really needs a home who can keep up with me and give me lots of love.
