Biography

We found this girl in our back yard at the start of the new year. When she came out while we were outside, she was extremely friendly, hungry, and appeared malnourished because we could literally count the vertebrae through her fur. There was a large chunk of fur missing from her tail and on the inside of her back legs. We began to feed her, took her to the vet twice; first was for a check up and antibiotics, and second was for spaying. The vet said that she is about 4 years old (which shoked us because she looked like a kitten) and she had a UTI. We brought her back on good health and now she's looking just like a normal cat; getting chonky, happy and healthy. Her fur grew back in all the aforementioned spots.

A few weeks go by and I notice my nose running, eyes swelling, nasal congestion, and shortness of breath. When I am at work the symptoms ease, however when I come home and she jumps on my lap to snuggle, the symptoms return full force. I met with my physician and he identified it as a cat allergy.

Needless to say, I am not able to keep her in my home for much longer, nor am I able to give her pets, snuggles and love she deserves. It breaks my heart to invest so much in her emotionally and financially and not be able to enjoy her company, however in my heart I belive that there is a human to whom she will bring much joy.

She is really tame, doesn't get on the tables or anywhere else where there's not a clear path. She is potty trained, sometimes likes playing with toys such as little mice (filled with catnip), chewing sticks, small crunchy balls, slinkies, etc., loves to snuggle and watch TV. When she was in our backyard, a gray cat would show up and they did not get along.

We named her Marusya, Musya for short.

I have tonns of wen canned food that I will gift her new owner, along with lots of treats, her toys, her bed, cat litter and litter box, and even a kitty water fountain with filters.

I have been putting off listing her for rehoming because I have so much love for her, but my body is not handling the cat allergy symptoms, and she deserves a human who she can snuggle up to, and whos comapy she can cherish.
