Biography

Pluto is an extremely loyal and loving pet. He loves to play and go on walks. Pluto is well trained on tricks and enjoys performing tricks for positive affirmation. He can sit, shake, touch, lay down, play possum, place, and follows the command ‘gentle.’ We walk him with a soft lead as seeing other dogs on walks can make him anxious.

Pluto does have separation anxiety and is a bit nervous in general, but doesn’t tear up the home, he does bark and cry, so he’d be best in a home versus apartment. He is very protective of the home so will bark at anyone walking by or coming to the door. He lives with a cat and they are playful. We have taken him to dog daycare and have been told he does best with smaller dogs, although, we think he’d do better without other dogs in the home.

It’s a tough decision to rehome Pluto but we have a new baby and are just starting our family. Pluto demands more attention than we can give. He also seems interested in playing with the baby so we think he’d do better with older kids.

Pluto will come with a great deal of dog gear including toys, leashes, collars, dog bowls, and food. He is healthy and all up-to-date on vaccines. He gets seasonal allergies and takes anxiety medicine when he goes to the vet or needs to be boarded.
