Biography

Rory is the sweetest dog I have ever known. He has the softest, gentlest disposition, and loves his people so much. He has extremely good manners, and is well trained in all basic commands. His recall is excellent and he loves his crate. As a bonus, he has the softest fur ever, which is great because he loves pets and snuggles. He also loves playing with other dogs and has lived with other dogs easily.

Rory wants to be the best boy, but he struggles with anxiety and fear of strangers, especially men. He can be reactive on leash, and can get stressed by the busyness of the city. He is quick to reset and refocus when he does react—he is very responsive to his caretaker and eager to please.

Because he is fearful of strangers (particularly men, though he has lived with men before), all introductions must be done slowly and carefully. Once he knows you, he LOVES you, but meeting new people is scary for Rory and must be done slowly.

Rory is extremely easy to fall in love with. He is a goofy loving boy! I hope to find a new owner who loves him as much as I do, and is willing to work with his flaws and ensure Rory has the full and happy life he deserves.
