Mickey

Mickey was rescued from an animal shelter after his owner passed away. Mickey’s new owner had a 2 1/2-year-old Boston Terrier they had hoped Mickey would be great company for, but it didn’t work out. Mickey needed to be an only pet. They felt Mickey deserved to live a happy life and they wanted to find that for him without having to surrender him back to a shelter life.

Mickey has found a wonderful home as an only pet. Home to Home was so wonderful and we had so much interest in Mickey. The information provided help us vet potential owners until we found the perfect owner for Mickey and we were able to keep him with us until we did. – Nancy

Comanche the Tennessee Walker

I was thrilled when I found Home to Home. Comanche needed to find a great home where he could be loved on, trained and given a job he would be happy doing. The process was simple, easy to follow and we had the most caring horse savvy people step up to adopt him. It took us just over a week to find him a new home. Thank you! Highly recommend! –Andrea & Patrick

Kodiak and Roscoe

Roscoe and Kodiak were posted to the Home to Home website when their owners found out they had to move, and it was a big cross-country move. Sadly, they were unable to take Roscoe or Kodiak with them, but they really wanted them to be able to stay together. Roscoe being totally blind and Kodiak having a background of abuse from a previous situation, meant they needed a unique home where they would get special care so they could continue to thrive.

They were blessed indeed with exactly that!

Thank you so much for this website. Our prayers have been answered and both of our sweet dogs found a new home to share tonight because of you. It even ended up being a coworker of ours so we know they will take good care of the boys.

God Bless,
Shawn and Bunny

Porter

Porter is a big, lovable dog. His owners love him dearly, but life changes for all of us and sometimes we have to make some tough decisions. Demanding work schedules and life changes were making it impossible to give Porter the time and attention he needed and deserved. They had to think of Porter’s well being and do what was best for his future. With heavy hearts, they filled out the profile and he was posted to the Panhandle Animal Shelter’s Home to Home website. Porter was able to go from one loving home right into another without the stress of a shelter surrender. His face says it all!

“Porter has been accepted into the most wonderful new home! We are overjoyed at the love they have given him, but we certainly miss him. Thank you for your help in making this transition so smooth.”
