Tanto

Meet Tanto, a slider turtle who’s ready for a new home! Tanto is approximately 2 years old and comes with a tank and all necessary supplies included at no extra cost.
Slider Turtle Care Info:

Habitat: Slider turtles need a spacious tank with clean, dechlorinated water and a basking area. Make sure the tank is large enough for Tanto to swim freely and bask comfortably.
Basking: Tanto requires a basking spot with a heat lamp to regulate body temperature. The basking area should be warm, around 85-90°F, while the water should be kept between 75-78°F.
Diet: Slider turtles enjoy a variety of foods including turtle pellets, leafy greens, fruits, and small live or frozen prey (such as insects or fish). Offer a balanced diet to keep Tanto healthy.
Clean Water: Regularly clean and maintain the water quality in Tanto’s tank. Use a good filtration system and perform partial water changes regularly to ensure a clean environment.
Enrichment: Provide Tanto with some aquatic plants and hiding spots to create a natural and enriching habitat. This will keep him engaged and healthy.
Health Checks: Monitor Tanto’s health by checking for any signs of illness such as changes in appetite, behavior, or appearance. Regular vet check-ups are recommended.
Tanto is a great companion for anyone interested in caring for a slider turtle. If you’re ready to welcome Tanto into your home, you’ll have a loyal and calm pet to share your days with!

Noodles

Noodles is a chill, but adventurous, little pal. Unfortunately, with the recent addition of our first child, and with a cat that demands attention, Noodles isn’t receiving the attention he’s used to, or deserves.

Noodles has enjoyed scaling couches and people alike outside his tank, but has been content digging and exploring new arrangements within his enclosure lately. Noodles enjoys gentle pats and strokes, and has even snuggled for warmth outside his enclosure in past years. Noodles can be an interactive or independent companion, suitable for anyone.

Noodles has only bitten once ever in 7 years, which was not painful, nor did it break skin. Immediately washing hands seemed to remedy the situation, leading me to believe there was a scent he did not like.
With proper care and hygiene, Noodles could be a companion suitable for children as well.

Noodles’ enclosure and all supplies will go with him to ensure continuity of care.
