Bean is a sweet 12.5 year-old indoor cat I adopted at 6 weeks old from a shelter. She’s friendly, affectionate and playful, and is a great talker and all-day lap companion. She is a truly special little being and it’s hard to let her go. She runs anxious about some things: vets, car rides, and kids. She has had digestive sensitivity that resolved with Royal Canin cat food, but since kids arrived, she has been clearly unhappy even hearing kids from another room and has started pooping outside of the litter box. Our vet thinks the likely cause is anxiety. This has been somewhat improved by pheromone collars but not helped by Prozac. We believe these issues would resolve in a home with no kids and so we want so much to give her a chance to live in a peaceful environment and bring someone else joy. Vaccines were last given in 2020 and she had an adverse reaction (and recovered). She has not been exposed to other animals since then. Bean has so much love to give!
