Bambi is 6 years old. We’ve had her for 4 years. She’s a good dog, we’ve loved having her, but unfortunately she’s not the right fit for our family anymore.

Her strengths: cute, gentle and affectionate with all people, a good size, 30 lbs., fastest dog in the dog park!

Her vices: can get in the trash so keep it locked up, barks at delivery people, she does well being left home in her crate, but can’t be left alone in the house outside of her box, she gets anxious/paces/howls. She will growl if she has gotten food and if you try to get it back (like if she takes garbage to her box), which most dogs may do. She has never bitten or nipped. She did growl at our toddler when our toddler pushed her. If we could keep a very close eye on them both, we would keep her, but we worry about an unsupervised moment. This is why we’re rehoming her. She would be a SUPER dog for school aged kids who would understand not to taunt or push. Otherwise, low maintenance, eats generic Costco brand dog food, barely sheds, easy to bathe, etc. We would even love being one of your contacts for a dog sitter if you need to leave town and if we are able to watch her.
