Biography
Hi. I have a 4 year old male tuxedo named Felix. He has become aggressive with all his other kitty housemates. I'm looking to relinquish for rehoming. I can't handle the cat fighting. I've tried the plug-ins, collars, gabapentin from the vet. Nothing is working to calm him down.
He is extremely loving. I've had him since he was 5 to 6 weeks old. His litter was found in a shed. He can be carried, is a lap cat, likes to be held like a baby, and if you're wearing something a little fluffy, he suckles like he's nursing. Lol With my health, my daughter and her children moving home, losing my mom this year, and having a dad with alzhiemers, I just can't constantly separate cats. Felix desperately needs rehomed. He might do okay with other cats. He's always been with others, but last year, I brought in a mama and daughter kitty, and Mama was a fighter. I relinquished those 2 to Karen at Sunrise after trying for 6 months. Well, unfortunately, Felix got the taste to fight and now wants to be dominant.
Felix is 10 pounds, microchipped, and UTD on shots. He was born in May of 2019. Felix is good with children and dogs. He is likely more of a woman's cat, though he's always been around my husband.
I've discussed this extensively with his veterinarian. The declaw was considered, but we don't think that will benefit him. If I can not get him rehomed, I will have to euthanize Felix, which is obviously something I do not want to do.
