Biography
Soap was found about a month ago crying on the side walk, begging for attention by following anyone who looked at him. I scooped him in the hopes he was just a temporarily lost pet. But he has no chip and no one has claimed him. So I’d really love to see him go to an amazing home!
Soap is a sweet, curious, and outgoing boy without being too rambunctious considering he’s only 11-ish months old. He takes everything thrown at him with an open and mostly calm disposition. He adjusted immediately to living full time indoors with two dogs and two other cats. He likes to nap with the youngest cat in the home (a three year old), so he’d do really well in a home with another cat. The only thing Soap enjoys more than food is snuggling up with a person. He has the cutest little squeak for a meow.
Soap did endure a scary urinary blockage shortly after he was picked up off the street. Although he’s recovered, he does need to remain on a prescription urinary diet to decrease the chances of a relapse. He is currently still intact and will need to be neutered. He took on some trauma with the medical episode and is currently relearning potty training. But with patience, grace, and the right litterbox, he’ll do great!
