Biography
Bailey is a sweet, loving attention addict. He is one of the most trainable dogs I've ever had, does great off leash, and loves going with me to work or staying home and napping. Bailey has one of the most expressive personalities I've ever seen. He shows so much emotion and really let's you know what he wants. The problem is, he doesn't get along with other (male so far) dogs. He has been neutered, but both before and after that, he has attacked two other dogs, multiple times. The fights seem to be over resources (bones) sometimes, but other times just personal space. He has never shown any aggression towards our female dog, but that might be coincidence or just their specific dynamic. All instances of fighting have been when nobody is home, or at least when they are alone in another area, like in the backyard by themselves.
His idea home would be as the only dog in the house. He is very much a 'people' dog, not a pack dog. He was found as a stray one year ago, and we tried to give him a good home, but we are out of options to keep the peace in our house. He has NEVER shown the slightest aggression towards people. Only other male dogs. He weighs 65# and is (roughly) 2 years old. Very well potty trained, knows basic commands.
