Biography
Frankie is a 3-year-old border collie mix who loves to run around, play fetch, go on hikes, and join you for a run! She is very friendly with people and loves going up to say hi to anyone she can. She's got a lot of energy and has spent her entire life living in small apartments in NYC and abroad. Frankie (like most of us) has anxiety and stress can get the best of her at times. She can be reactive when she's stressed in a situation, particularly she finds dog parks to be stressful and she is resource-protective. I can easily convince her to let go of something and trade it for a treat, but it is something to be aware of.
She would do best in a home with older aged children I believe (though she's never lived with any before). She gets along with other dogs sometimes, but would probably do best in a home with no other dogs or up to 1 other dog. She currently lives in NYC and would do really well in bigger home with a backyard and space to call her own.
