Biography
Millie is a rescue pet that was rehomed to an owner who passed away last year. She's very maternal, has even taken our small epileptic dog under her watchful eye. She's rolled him to safety and alerted me of his seizures several times. She will cuddle with anyone who wants to be near her, including other dogs and children. She is an inside dog that likes to go on walks. She prefers to sleep with people at the foot of the bed, but she will sleep in her own bed if you tell her.
She was kennel trained years ago. If you intend to kennel her, she will need a sturdy (not wired) kennel to be retrained, as she hasn't been kenneled in over 2 years.
She's not destructive. She craves affection and likes to play, but is obedient if you tell her it's not playtime. Like most dogs, lightening and storms scare her. As long as she has access to doggy toys to snuggle/chew and other dogs or people around to distract her, she will remain calm.
I've had dogs in my family my entire life. I can honestly say that Millie has the kindest disposition I've ever seen. She deserves a good home with compassion and companionship. She's taken such good care of others her whole life. It's time she becomes a part of a family that can give her a forever home.
