Biography
We adopted Erza (formerly Eliza) from a rescue in Texas, last year, her trip up was delayed 3 months because of ear mites and so we didn't get her until she was about 9 months old or so. So she's about 1.5 years old.
The trip up was in the same van as noisy dogs, she was so nervous she did nothing but meow and fart the whole way home.
Even after a slow introduction to us and our resident cat, she runs and hides when you enter the room, she barely wants to play with toys.
She is quite squeaky and happy to be pet if you're very quiet and still. But she bolts the moment you stand up.
And if she's startled enough she still has the worst smelling farts of any cat I've ever met.
We tried slowly introducing her to our first cats regular food but she got raging diarrhea from it, the only thing she seems to tolerate so far is grain free blue buffalo chicken(regular or hairball control), and wet cat food.
