Biography
Margot is a super energetic, sweet, and smart dog. She enjoys walks, runs, swimming, and loves playing with other dogs.
She is a Heeler, Husky, and Pit mix. She was found as a stray on the Key Peninsula and her breeder refused to take responsibility for her once contacted.
The little information we gathered from the breeder is that she had received no training and was free roaming most of her life.
While in our care Margot has received all her vaccines and she is currently seeing a one on one trainer once a week. She is currently unaltered under vet recommendation due to being a very active breed (recommended getting spade at 12 months). We have also learned that she would fit best as a single family pet and with somebody that can provide high levels of exercise and continued training. A home with a yard and full size fence is highly recommended due to energy levels.
Margot currently lives with another dog but occasionally becomes territorial. This habit is being worked on with her trainer regularly. She also chases cats regularly but has never been openly aggressive towards them.
I’m the end Margot is looking for her forever home that can provide the time and energy needed for a super happy and energetic personality.
