We are looking to rehome our three-year-old, 75-lb dog Juno. We don’t know her breed because she was a rescue dog, but she has beautiful black-and-white speckled fur, with hints of Great Dane or blue heeler. She is very well house-trained, leash-trained, and never chews or tears up anything in the house. She loves walks but does not need extensive exercise. She does fine around other dogs but does not have constant exposure.
We think she should go to a home preferably without young children and with space for her to roam, at least occasionally. She has some anxiety issues that cause her to be intimidated by unwanted attention, but she likes petting, play, and attention on her terms. We have young children, and it has been hard for them to navigate this dynamic well. Meeting new people is hard for Juno, but she warms up to them once she no longer feels threatened. We believe Juno could be a lovely and happy dog in a different environment.
She is spayed, has a microchip, and is up-to-date on vaccinations, heart worm, flea/tick medications and veterinary records. We are currently in Lenexa and willing to meet with anyone in the KC metro.
