Biography

Please meet Ellie. She seems to have the world against her, and I wanted to see if anyone has the capacity and the heart to give her a home.

I met her after watching her get hit by a car. Somehow we found her owner and were told they do not have the resources to care for her. The owner and the neighbors state Ellie constantly roams the neighborhood, possibly in search of food. We have more details about her previous living situation, yet want to focus on how much she has overcome!

She is a puppy herself (11 months) and already had a litter of 8, 5 weeks ago.

She is great with other dogs, kids, adults, and even infants. We haven't heard her bark in the 3-4 days we have had her. Tolerates baths. Tolerates the car and jumps right in. Good on a leash. Loves to snuggle with everyone! And sleeps well. She also loved getting her first toy ❤

We wish we had the ability to keep this girl, however we don't have the space or right landlord to keep her.

She has been in to the emergency vet and is currently on short term antibiotics and pain meds. We have been holding her for a few days in hopes someone wants a loyal friend. She somehow can still trust humans. We are looking for someone who will be her first and last trusting home. She would be a great family dog, even a running buddy.

Reach out for more information anytime,
Thank you!

*It breaks our hearts we are having to look at shelters. We have tried every rescue we can think of. We have the hearts, but not the capacity.
