Reggie is an approx 9 month old Aussie-poodle mix. I rescued him from a backyard breeder who went into hospice (friend of a friend).
I had him home about a week when I realized that he is blind.
He quickly adjusted and is doing well. He is super smart, silly, loving and friendly to all types of pets. He is only shy around new people.
The issue is that he desperately wants to interact around humans and pets as much as possible. Completely reasonable - but hard for me since I work a lot and have a child in sports.
He functions well in all aspects, but definitely needs a human or two who are around a good majority of the time. He loves other animals and has been around a cat, a rabbit, and chickens. He is friendly to all.
He would need other canine siblings to follow around and play with. He is super playful and loves wrestling
He is still working on potty training as he spent the first 6 months of his life in an outdoor run.
He is the happiest, silliest and most loving dog I've ever met. He will make a wonderful addition to a family or person who can be with him more often than I can.
He has not been neutered but that will be done prior to going to a new home.
