Biography
I am looking for a new home for my sweet dog Void. Void is a 65-lb pit bull mix, probably 6 or 7 years old according to the vet. He is up-to-date on shots, cuddly, playful, gregarious, loves to nap, doesn't bark much, and gets along with almost all other mammals.
As much of a joy as he is, it has become clear to me that I haven't been able to offer him some major quality-of-life things that someone else potentially could. In the year and a half since I adopted him from the shelter, Void's done a lot of traveling with me, but he's gotten tired of change and bored of being left home alone as much as I leave him. I'm hoping to find a place with at least 2 of the following:
- other dogs in the household for ongoing socialization
- fenced in yard/space to be off-leash (outside the city is a plus!)
- stability--being able to live in the same place for several years at a time.
Void would be a fantastic dog for someone who wants relaxed companionship at home. He would also be very happy as a farm dog living outdoors most of the year, especially if there are other dogs around. He's socially outgoing but extremely timid about things like loud noises and sudden movements, so it's important that he finds a home with someone with a reassuring demeanor. Is it you?
