Biography
Bandit is an Australian Cattle and Australian Shepard mix who was adopted from Norco, CA where my wife and I found him with an older couple when he was only 4 months. He is now 4 years old, the DOB given to him by Banfield Pet Hospital is 09/04/2019 and has been neutered. We have gotten all of his shots as well. Since we've had him, he has been so loving, playful, and energetic, however, we feel that Bandit suffers from past traumatic experiences from when he was a puppy. Whenever we put on his harness or collar, he freezes up and doesn't move until his leash is on. He becomes afraid at any loud voices or sudden movements. A very important reason why my wife and I have decided to re home Bandit is because Bandit has a tendency to snap on people and other dogs. Due to that, Bandit would need to be adopted as a solo pet unless his new owner can introduce him to new friends without any issues. We believe he needs aggression training but we are unfortunately unable to afford it. He needs a family who is able to accommodate his needs, energy, and attention. We have done a poor job at doing this since we've had him but he is such a good boy when he is in his playful, energetic, and cuddly moods. I do not want to surrender him to a shelter but due to my current living situation, if I am unable to find a new home for him, I'd have to leave him at a shelter. If someone is able to give him the time and activity he needs and is also willing to train him to be a better dog, he is the perfect boy anyone can ask for. Details I forgot to add; he is micro chipped under my name and I have his DNA results from Banfield Pet Hospital.
