Biography

Soos was adopted from Austin Animal Center as a puppy and has been through an immense amount of training. He's intelligent and quick to learn but needs consistency. He is extremely food motivated. He used to be zoomies at all times but he has calmed down quite a bit as he nears 3 years old (in January).

He is well socialized, having attended many doggie camps and doing great at boarding as well. He has brachycephaly giving him a shorter snout, so he is not a running partner but man does he love fetch. His DNA consists of french bulldog, mini poodle and "terrier/sporting/herding".

His typical day consists of a short morning walk, lounging and sleeping on his beanbag or couch to monitor his street, some zoomies + fetch + bully stick or destuffing a stuffy in the evening, followed by another short walk and then time for bed.

He loves to go for weekend trail walks when it's cooler outside. People often think he must be a wise old man due to his white beard. He's not much of a dog park guy as he can stir up trouble when not around other dogs with similar energy levels.

Soos now needs a family without children so his boundaries can be respected. He does try to eat our chickens, so no birds or cats. He is crate trained and chooses to go into his crate at times to have his space. He tells us he needs to go out by hitting our doorknob and never has any accidents. He is used to bathroom access at least every 4-6 hours. He's been a great work at home companion as he mostly sleeps during work hours. He can live with an alpha dog.
