Biography
Margo will be your loyal best friend. She lovesand moving on to to go anywhere her person goes. She loves taking car rides the next adventure. She is a little puddle jumper, she doesn't like to swim in deep water but will be quick to find the nearest source of water and get her feet wet. She is a dam breaker and loves to liberate the biggest logs she can find from the stream. She will find large rocks in the river and bring them to the safety of the surface and fashion them into a pile smiling back at you to admire her achievements.
Margo is full of energy and would suit an active household who is looking for a companion on the trails. She has climbed mountains and ran through the waves in the ocean. But for such an athlete, she has a mellow side and understands the need for rest. In the home, she will follow you around and find a cool spot to lay down as you go about your daily tasks. She really thrives with structure and routine. She would love a fenced yard to run around in.
She has some quirks and a little bit of anxiety. She has been taking 30 mg Fluoxetine daily for the last year which has calmed her nerves immensely. She does great with dogs in neutral spaces, but her guardian nature makes her very protective of her space and needs to be the only animal in the home. She can be fearful of strangers entering her space, but is quick to be won over with proper introduction such as an offering of a treat or a ball. Once Margo knows you, she will forever have you in her heart. She knows her friends and will greet you with butt wiggles and excited squeaks with every meeting. She has never lived with children, but has only had positive interactions with them.
She is highly intelligent and knows many words and queues. Among her favorites are ball, toy, food, car, outside and play. She is house and crate trained but non-destructive if left in the home while you are away. Margo is very treat motivated and quick to learn new commands.
Margo is truly an amazing dog who is eager to please and be your best friend. Her goofy spirit is sure to melt your heart.
