Biography

Penelope is a Red Nose Pitbull that my wife and I adopted from the San Diego humane society in the summer of 2022. She is one of the most affectionate dogs I have ever met. She is super playful; tug-of-war is her favorite. She enjoys playing with other dogs, although her high energy can be hard to handle for some dogs. She is very motivated by food and treats.
She is apprehensive towards things that make unexpected noises or items such as bats, brooms, and hoses. Responses to these things are usually barking or trying to bite at the item.
Overall, Penelope is an amazing dog. She needs an owner that is patient and can provide regular play time so she can exert some of her energy. This is a very difficult decision, but we have a baby on the way and our oldest dog cannot handle Penelope’s excitement properly.
