Biography
Jupiter is a 5 year old, neutered, Black Mouth Cur, who is heartworm negative, and current on all vaccinations. I have had him since he was 8 weeks old, when he was found abandoned, starving, under a midtown house. He gets along with dogs and people after proper introduction. He has anxiety and is wary of new situations, but I have had him in doggie daycare and working with a trainer this year. He is on medication to lessen anxiety. He grew up with 2 pitbulls and 2 rat terriers, my daughter and my granddaughter, who was 6 when we got him. Because he weighs 92 lbs., I do not recommend he be around small children or elderly people. He does not like cats. He would do best with someone who can take him for walks and who knows how to handle a dog with anxiety. They require patience and gentle encouragement, building trust and confidence. Jupiter is smart, sensitive, obedient, and a good boy. 👍
