Biography
Oscar Mayer Weiner is a mixed breed Dachshund. We adopted him from the shelter about 4 months ago, but sadly, my family and I’s work/school schedules have changed and Oscar is home alone by himself most of the day, every day. Oscar has severe separation anxiety, which makes being home alone very stressful for him. During the 4 months we’ve had him, he quickly adjusted to our home. He is very clever, super loving, loves cuddles and affection, and needs to be near you all the time, so Oscar would do well in a home that can give him lots and lots of love and extra attention. He is an only pet with us, so I’m unsure how he’d do in a home with other pets. I have a 5 year old, and they absolutely adore one another, so he does well with young children. Oscar is treat motivated, loves the outdoors, is highly active, but will chill out for naps and lounging too.
