Biography

Hercules (3yrs old, Staff/American Pitbull Terrier) here is still trying to find his furever home! We are running out of time and won't be able to keep him much longer. We are rehoming him do to our ridiculous schedules and he needs to be able to roam and be free and happy. We had to make this difficult decision after realizing we are not giving him everything he needs. He's locked in his kennel most of the day. Although, we do take him on long walks and he loves to play fetch and lay on the grass. He's a VERY good boy. We spent a lot of time training him. He can still use more recall training and also training him to not be so distracted by everything. He is scared of loud pop noises (gun shots, fireworks, even big construction vehicles). We taught him not to beg for human food. We have him lay down on his bed. We have not fed him human food that would be harmful to his health. We do give him some raw foods like fruits and veggies. He loves apples, bananas, and cucumbers! He has a clean bill of health. Up to date on everything. He is great with children. He LOVES kids. He loves meeting new people, too. We haven't had him around cats since we don't have any. Therefore, we don't know how he is around cats. He does great with other dogs and plays well with them. He listens to certain cues the other dogs may give and knows when to back off. He's very submissive. He is a wonderful family dog but will also thrive with someone who has an active lifestyle. He loves the water and going on hikes. My physical disabilities have made it hard to do more adventures with him. This goofball deserves the best 1000%. Located in Edmonds, WA. Willing to travel to his furever home or meet halfway. No rehoming fee. We just want to find him the right home.
