Biography
We have had Phoenix for about 6 weeks. We took her in because her prior owners adopted her at 2 years of age, as a companion dog, and after 6 months the wife became very ill and the husband is her main caregiver and could no longer manage an active pet. We take in dogs that have lost their owners and are usually too old to be rehomed, and are normally 10 years and older. Phoenix is lots younger than that and needs to go on more walks and have human play mates, our older group is not enough energy for her. She is friendly from minute one and does well with children. She is an orange-ish brindle, small in stature, but solid/fit. She walks well on a leash and really loves to walk and play. She is spayed. She is about 2 years and 10 months old.
