Biography
Korg is a American Bulldog / Pitbull mix we adopted in December of 2023. He was a rescue from the Virginia Beach Adoption Center, he is 2-3 years old due to the nature of his rescue his actual age is unknown. He is neutered, micro chipped, vaccinated and on heart worm and tick preventative. He weighs 65LBS and is in healthy condition. The reason for his rehome is job related. I am a firefighter and do not have enough time to take care of him properly, my girlfriend works 6 days a week and he does not get the attention or support that he needs. He needs a space to play and our small concrete yard does not suffice for him. He is an energetic and playful dog with a funny personality. He's good with baths, nail clippings and decent on a leash. When he's relaxing he likes to watch the TV with us and enjoys singing and howling along to certain music (specifically some jazz). He's very timid around other dogs, not aggressive but shy and slow until they begin to play with him. His biggest issues is he doesn't do well with corrective behavior, we believe he may have been abused prior to our ownership. If you raise your voice and advance toward him quickly he becomes very scared. He flinches often in normal situations so we believe he may have been beat. He's a great dog, he will add tons of laughs and love to your home with his singing and playing, he just needs a better home to accommodate him and with me being gone for 24 hours at a time and my girlfriend working so often we believe he can obtain better care with another family. Last note, the vet has advised us he is allergic to chicken! No chicken treats or food base.
