Biography
Rocket is a 9 year old boxer/pit mix that I have had since he was 11 weeks old. He has been a dear part of my family every since he has come into my life. It breaks my heart to have to rehome him, but I am forced to rehome him due to complaints from neighbors. He has separation anxiety, so there are times that he will whine and cry while he is alone. He is better with female dogs, but is territorial around male dogs. His anxiety makes him reactive to strangers that approach him, but he is fine on the leash so I walk him with a "do not pet" harness. The vet always compliments how well behaved he is in their offices. He is crate and potty trained. Once he is comfortable, he is a total snuggle bug and loves nothing more than to lie around and cuddle all day. He is definitely a couch potato and would do well in a home or apartment. I would love to keep him, but it would be better if he were in a home with someone that either works from home or does not live in an apartment.
