Biography
My husband and I have made a very tough decision to re-home our 2 year old German Shepherd. He is a pure bred German Shepherd and I have all his papers, he is up to date on all his vaccines (have those records as well, and he is not neutered. We haven’t been able to get him neutered due to financial reasons so it will be up to the person who adopts him. This has been a very hard decision and one that has taken months to decide. He has lived most of his life in an apartment and we recently moved into a home hoping that we could make it work but unfortunately due to life and financial reasons it is not in his best interest for him to stay will us. German Shepherds are incredible dogs but need someone who has the time and energy to properly exercise them physically and mentally. He is such a smart and loving boy, but I know he deserves more than we can give him. I would ideally place him with someone who has knowledge of GSD or working breeds. He definitely needs a yard that he can run and play in. He also loves walks and does well on a leash. He is crate trained but due to our schedule he has had to spend more time in there then I would like so I hope the home he goes to has the ability to let him be out and roam more. He does great with other dogs but his play style is more rough and rowdy because he is a big boy with lots of energy. He loves to cuddle on the couch with his people at the end of the day. He has no behavior issues, but could benefit from some good training on basic obedience. We will be selective on where he goes and are in no rush to re-home him. We want to make sure he goes to the right home. Please reach out if you are interested, I would love to hear more about you and why you would like to bring him into your home. ❤️
