Biography
*Willing to offer temporary foster or trial period to find the right fit as we do not want to take her to the shelter and truly want to find the right home for her* Kona is sweet and friendly with humans and loves to be the center of attention. Good with older kids but jumps when excited so children should be old enough and big enough to not be knocked over, no babies/toddlers. She has lived with us since our son was 6 - he is 9 now. She knows basic commands (sit, lay down, working on stay). Current on vaccines/vet visits, spayed. Needs to be the only pet in home, as she does show reactivity toward other animals. Fully potty-trained and is left out to roam free in the home all night. Needs a family that someone will be home with her majority of her day as she does prefer to not be left alone for more than a couple of hours at a time. We have had a change in lifestyle and now both adults work full time - it is not fair to Kona to be alone all day. Kona is perfectly happy to lay around with you and relax but also enjoys her walks - she just wants to be with her humans doing whatever they are doing!
