Biography
Ginger (black and white, female 9 years old) was brought into our family about 8 years ago; Skooter (brown, male 8 yrs old) about 6. My brother and sister-in-law wanted their son Alec to have a companion and they loved dogs. I moved into their home with my nephew about two years ago after my brother passed away. My sister-in-law passed 18 months earlier.
I am no longer able to afford to live in the house and cannot rent a space large enough for the dogs.
They are a bonded pair who love to run and chase in the back yard. They have a dog door so can come and go as they please.
They would not do well with other pets. They chase cats, squirrels and rabbits out of the yard. They may be too energetic for small children.
They are both very protective of the family and each other.
They love walks but need leash training. They are very responsive to treats and can be trained with patience.
They love to snuggle on the couch or bed and like to be near their people.
