Sammy is a quiet, peaceful, snuggly boy. He has always been an indoor cat. He loves sleeping in bed with his owners! He likes a quiet space, and definitely prefers to be the #1 pet in the house. He has all kitten-1yr vaccines, and has been spayed. He is 7 years old.
He was the perfect pet for us until we introduced another male cat. Since that time, he's been expressing problematic territorial behaviors that are becoming too much for us to manage with new baby in the house now too. He picked 2 spots in the house (only the two!) where he pees on the carpet. He does still use his litter box just fine. We're certain it's because there are now two boy cats in the house, as he did not do this prior.
So we feel a home with no other cats or dogs would be ideal. He's used to lots of loud kiddos around, but always preferred to be left alone. So a quiet home, possibly emtpty-nesters or elderly would be perfect we feel. he may take a moment to get used to new owners and a new home, but once he's comfy, I do believe he'll be just as sweet and snuggly with new parents!
