Approximately 7 years old gorgeous silky black cat. Vaccinated, chipped, and fixed. Panther is a part of a cat colony that lives behind our home. We have been able to find homes for all of his friends and are now looking for a special place for him.
He always traveled around with other kitties and really seems to like being around other cats. He's very interested in the two cats that reside inside our home and always wants to say hi to them when he comes to eat. He was a great protector of one of the young colony cats that got pregnant and had kittens. He would always let her eat first! When we found the kittens he was standing guard over the mom and babies. He is such a sweet gentleman.
Panther will let me pet him and rubs my legs. He has shown interest in coming into our home. I am beginning to wonder if he really is a colony cat or is a dumped house cat??
Panther is FIV positive. He would have to go to a home with other cats that are FIV positive, or be an only kitty.
I would really like for him to be an indoor pet. He would probably need some socialization-I know he has been outdoors at least since last fall(when we started taking care of him).
He is such a good man. We would keep him ourselves and work on getting him inside, but we have two high need resident kitties that are not FIV+ at this time.
We love panther and think he would make a great pet to the right home!!
