Biography
Ginger is a rescued feral cat. He lived by his wits, being afraid of everything, until we began to tame him in our barn. He desperately wanted to socialize with people. But it took him some time to overcome his fear. It has been nothing short of amazing to watch this lovely creature overcome his fear and reach out to us over and over again! We love him very much. When we moved from our small farm we brought him to our current home, and tried to integrate him with our existing three house cats. He is too aggressive to them. And that has not worked out. Thankfully there is a basement apartment in our current home where we set him up and spend time with him often. But he craves even more human companionship time. Sadly we are having to move again. This time out of state! Our next home does not have as much space and it would be very hard to accommodate Ginger. He is extremely devoted to us, but has demonstrated that he can warm up to strangers who have lived at our house and taken care of it while we were gone. He's been around our grandkids and does well with them as well. It seems to us that he would make a devoted companion in a one pet home. He is talkative, demonstrative, playful with tons of personality!!! He is extremely smart! He is neutered and has all his shots. We are moving from Montana to Washington in a few weeks. We would rehome him here in Montana or in Washington.
