Biography

Duke is a very loving dog that is excellent with children and with cats. Duke currently lives with two cats and engages in play with them often. Duke is a lovely tri-color Beagle that loves to lounge around. Duke is an over-eater and has some trouble keeping weight off because of the children in the house (they keep feeding him). Duke loves to cuddle during the night and will sleep under the covers with you if you let him and loves to be pet and scratched all the time. Duke is very curious about everything going on in the outside world and likes to watch out windows if he can. While there is no negative history with other dogs with Duke, there is also no positive history either as Duke has not been around other dogs on a regular basis since he was a puppy. He does well when taken to the dog park and doesn't ever seem to have issues with other dogs. For most of Duke's life he has been an inside dog however for about a year he lived in the woods with my father and was outside nearly all day every day.

Duke is a mostly awesome pet however he suffers from separation anxiety and he hates going on car rides. He is very anxious when people leave for too long and can sometimes poop on the floor when left alone. Duke can also get a little aggressive if he hides any food and people go near it, or if he steals some food and people try to take it away. He has never bitten anyone however he does growl when these instances occur. Duke also has a tendency to run off if given the chance, so it would be best if he was able to have a fenced yard to be in.

Duke has been an amazing pet for my family. Sadly however we are moving into an apartment that does not allow pets.
