Biography

I have only had Sparky for a couple months. She came from a mutual friend who couldn't keep her anymore and was going to put her down so I took her in.

She's a pretty relaxed dog, just lays around until its time for a walk or food. The previous owners grandfather had her until he passed away so she is used to a low energy house. Doesn't get the zoomies, wont hand fight, and doesn't chew on furniture or anything. She does have some allergies which make her belly red and itchy, so she loves a belly rub. And she does have a bad habit of getting in the trash and taking things off the counter. She was probably 15lbs too heavy when I got her so she has been on a diet recently.

She's very friendly with people, I walk her off leash behind my house in the park and she loves to go up and say hi to everyone back there. Very affectionate towards me and anybody I have over.

She is ok with some dogs, she lived with a Male Frenchie with no problems I'm told and she gets along fine with my Male Heeler, however she doesn't get along with my female heeler. I haven't found anybody bloody but I cant have toys out or they snarl at each other and she gets possessive with attention.

She listens pretty well with basic commands like; come, sit, no. She usually walks next to me unless there is a rabbit or someone to say hi to. On a slip leash she doesnt pull much, a little if a bunny runs by, but I haven't had her on a standard collar or harness leash.

She is house broken. I have a doggy door and a fenced in yard so I'm not sure if she's kennel trained or how long she can go without being let out.

All in all she is a pretty good dog and I would keep her but I live alone and 3 dogs is too much. And her not getting along with my female makes me a little nervous.
