UPDATE: Sweet Potato has a potential adopter!
In the process of getting her vetted, we made the unfortunate discovery that she is heartworm positive. Good news is she is otherwise healthy.
She will receive her 2nd set of shots and spay by the end of September. Then early October she will get her consultation for HW treatment.
We hope to do a home visit and meet and greet soon.
This sweet girl was found running with another dog in the streets. Due to the extreme heat and one of them wearing a collar with no ID, I picked them up. I currently have them both. After trying for two months to unsuccessfully find their owners, I have to find them homes, as I am unable to keep them.
Sweet Potato is just that. A sweet sweet little girl that loves to be a couch potato and cuddle up with humans or other dogs. She does also love playing and wrestling with her brother but she is perfectly happy lounging around. She rarely barks and is house trained. She actually likes being in a crate and goes in one on her own. She comes when called and shows no aggression to my other dogs or cat.
My best guess is she is about 2 years old and looks like she has had puppies before. She is not currently spayed, but I am working on that as well as getting her vaccinated and heartworm tested.
Approximate weight is 15 lbs
