Biography
Kobe is a very adventurous Whippet Labrador mix. He is a sweet and goofy dog that bonds strongly with his person. He loves being outdoors, does well when home alone, and is very laid back in general. He has a love for training, knows a lot of fun tricks and enjoys learning new tricks even at 7 years of age! He is crate trained, walks well on leash, and knows commands such as sit, down, spin, touch, shake, high-five, jump, heel, and place. This boy is very smart and is a natural performer! He gets bouts of energy like a puppy and can be very playful.
Kobe is very gentle with indoor cats and small dogs. He has lived with another dog smaller than him which has also gone well but is not a fan of larger dogs. He would likely do best being the only dog in the home.
Kobe does have some anxiety around strangers and loud noises which is managed with daily medication prescribed by his veterinarian. His adoption history from the shelter in 2019 indicated that he is not good with children. He would thrive in a quiet home with an experienced dog owner who loves to be outdoors and has experience with dog training.
