Biography
Pete is a great dog to his owner/friends/family. He gets along with his other dog mate Blair (border collie mix) but no other dogs. He requires a fence or a couple leashed walks a day with at least two 30 minute walks and some outdoor time. If you have a garden he is great at keeping critters away! He’ll bark at certain dogs walking past but people don’t seem to bother him. Once he meets your neighbors up close he’ll just do his own thing and won’t bother them.
He has gone after other dogs (minor bite on each) so he will need to be the only pet.
He has spent multiple five night stays with a family (girls 7 and 12) with no problems but he had has buddy Blair with, so I am unsure how he would function on his own. To be 100% safe I would feel most comfortable with an owner that have no pets or children and can give him the care and environment he needs to be himself.
Other than that he is very friendly to his people and hasn’t harmed a person. Is leash trained, can sit, stay, leave it (transitioned to no at recommendation of trainer), up, down, and come.
Message with any questions. I have no problem driving to meet with you from just over the river.
