Biography

True to her coloring Nala is a sassy and spicy ginger. She’s a lap cat at heart, but wants love on her terms. You can count on morning cuddles, biscuits, and her lying in the cutest softest and fluffiest ball on your lap. As far as the petting goes, that’s up to her (which is really not fair given the softness of her fur - even the vet has commented on it!) Nala loves to play with stick toys and her peek-a-boo toy. She also needs lots of scratchers around and occasionally needs to be redirected away from the furniture. She listens mostly, but is still a cat. When it comes to other cats, she is other cat specific. She gets along with our male cat just fine, but we’ve tried for over two years to integrate her with our other female cat and it’s not going to happen. This is our primary reason for rehoming. She loves to be around the family and deserves that 100% of the time, not just half the time (since we have to keep them separated.) It’s too stressful on everyone. Nala loves men. She will bite if pushed too far, so a home with older children or no children would be best. She also prefers Tidy Cat litter and it must be kept clean or she’ll go outside the box. We generally feed her dry food during the day and a little wet food at night (Applaws). She’s healthy, up to date on vaccines and had her teeth cleaned last year. She does have all her claws and could be an indoor/outdoor cat, but we’ve only ever had her inside.
