Biography
Ginny is a 5-yo malinois/pit mix. She is a sweet dog that loves attention. She grew up with older cats and older dogs already in the house and has had kittens and puppies introduced into the family over the last few years. She does fine with them, however, I'd recommend taking it slow on adult intros, just to be safe. We have two parrots in the house that she also ignores. Right now, she is mostly an outside dog. Unfortunately, she chases my horses and has a high prey drive that has led her to kill all of my chickens, multiple times over the last few years. Ginny would be an amazing family dog in a neighborhood or somewhere not around livestock. She's not a good farm dog. She does know basic commands (sit, down, place) but may need a bit of consistency on maintaining them. She sometimes takes a minute to warm up to people, but if you sit down with her and love on her, she will be in your lap. She has also been around kids since she was born. She is afraid of fireworks.
