Biography

While Tiny has always been smaller than his kitty roommate Bo (Tuxedo cat shown in pictures, also up for adoption), he is not exactly a small cat. He weighs about 15 pounds and would be happier at 12 or 13. He was rescued as a kitten around Christmas time and was the runt of the litter, so he was named after Tiny Tim.

While Tiny has grown quite a bit in the last 6 years, he has maintained his kitten-like playfulness. His favorite toys are laser pointers and stretchy wand toys. He is a very social kitty who comes around often for a massage, even from unknown house guests. Tiny should not be in a home with birds and should not be allowed outside (for the sake of birds). He has been an indoor only cat.

Tiny would do well in almost any household. He would be happiest if he had young humans (or young at heart) to play with him. He doesn't prefer to live with dogs, but will learn to coexist with a slow introduction. Tiny gets along really well with his kitty roommate, Bo, and could be happy in a home with him, but he has shown aggression to other cats before and would prefer not to meet any new ones.

We have found that Tiny's tummy appreciates a high protein/low fiber diet. We give him Petco brand wetfood and a chicken based Purina dry food.

Tiny is looking forward to meeting you!

Note: Tiny is due for his rabies vaccine. He currently has an appointment for January 13th, so he could meet his new family any time, then go home with them afterwards. If the new family would like to have him home sooner, we could talk about possibly transferring the scheduled appointment to the new family.
