Oracle was rescued from me at the veterinary ER I worked at about a year ago. She was badly injured and needed to have her eye removed. As she was currently un-vaccinated and in-tact, I took her into my home to get her the care she urgently needed. We waited the full 9 months after her spay, enucleation (eye removal) and dental procedure, to recheck for FIV/FeLV which she is negative for. She is currently up to date of all vaccinations and flea/tick/heartworm prevention. Though she's gotten regular veterinary care since her relinquishment to me, she did have some signs of early kidney issues. She is on a special diet low in protein to protect her kidneys and also take Miralax to keep her stools regular.

Oracle is a lovely cat! She gets along great with our 4 dogs (large and small) and came from a multi-cat home. She is playful, friendly with everyone she meets and very quirky. Unfortunately, we just don't have a very cat friendly home. She has to spend most of her time alone in her bedroom to be safe from the dogs and both members of the home have mild cat allergies. I've grown to love her, but feel she would do better in a home more suited for a cat. She should be indoor only as she doesn't have the best depth perception with only 1 eye. She also would benefit with daily brushing as she has that typical floofy maine coon coat.
