This is Pepper, my older cat. Initially, I thought she was around 8 years old, but the vet believes she's even older, though still officially classified as an older cat. Pepper is an absolute sweetheart with an extremely funny personality. She craves attention and companionship, and I mean that wholeheartedly. While she may be shy at first, once she settles in and recognizes her new home, she won't stop asking for attention. So, I want to be transparent: if you're unsure about committing to her need for affection in the long run, reaching out might not be the best choice. A single-pet household would be ideal, or perhaps one with a feline friend who appreciates their space and doesn't mind not being the center of attention. Pepper does have some mild kidney issues, but she's managing well with a special diet for now. It's essential to visit the vet to ensure she receives the best care possible. It's also important to note that I've only had her for a year, so she's only had a few vet visits with me. Therefore, I may not be able to answer every health-related question you have, but I'm more than willing to provide any information I can. It breaks my heart to put Pepper in a confusing and stressful situation like this, but I know she can receive better care and love elsewhere.
