Biography

🐶 Meet Cappy, the sweetest, most loving fur baby! 🐶

We are very sadly looking to rehome Cap (Captain America) - a 2.5 y/o American Bull Terrier/Mastiff Mix (best guess). We are in Pflugerville, Travis County just outside of Austin. Neutered.

We rescued Cappy about 2 years ago and he’s brought lots of love to our family. But mom was diagnosed with a chronic illness that severely limits her energy, and also had a baby, so he is not getting the attention or patience he deserves.

🐶 Cap has never met a person or thing he didn’t LOVE. You? He loves you. New people? New best friend! Small hooman? Great for cuddling! Cats? Cool roommates!

🐶 Great with kids, cats, dogs, anyone. Absolutely no aggression at all…just an abundance of enthusiasm.

🐶 Also a big fan of snuggling. Our six year old has warned he WILL sneak into her bed and try to sleep with her. He’s a great little spoon.

🐶 He's a smart pup who loves training and working..

🐕‍🦺 Cap’s absolute zeal for life means that he can have zero chill when he first sees new things or gets bored. But, he is great with commands like “place” or “kennel” and will gladly sit in his place as long as he’s part of the action, even peripherally.

🐕‍🦺No fear of fireworks, thunder or other loud noises - though he will bark when surprised and want to investigate the cause

🐕‍🦺Fine in a crate for extended periods of time or overnight, though we often leave him out when we're gone.

Cappy would be a great fit for active families who can be patient and loving with him, or a couple/individual who love dogs and have an active, engaged lifestyle that he can be part of.

We're so grateful for anyone who can help us find the perfect home for our sweet boy.
