Biography

Hi, I'm Roofus!
I used to be named Kilo, but that's the beauty of having a deaf baby, you can name me whatever you want! I'm a super loving guy, my parents call me a big baby, I always want to be with you and cuddling, and I WILL make your bed, my bed. I like to tear up toys, but love every moment of it, I do get a little mouthy when playing but I never mean to hurt you, and if I do, I'll lick it better, promise!
My parents have been working with me on hand signals, and they are happy to teach you, but I'm also really easy to train! I am potty trained, but may have some issues when I first get to my new home, I'm a nervous potty-er! Give me love and treats, and I'm all yours.
I will come with my slow-feeder because I will eat super fast and make myself sick otherwise, I also have a special diet that my parents were figuring out (pitty problems), they are happy to tell you what we've figured out. I'm kennel trained, but might cry like Chewbacca at first, ill go to sleep after a minute. I do like to see what I can eat off the floor, so please try and keep anything I can get my mouth on off the ground!
My mom has taken my food bowl while I'm eating, messed with my paws and mouth while I'm playing and eating, and I've never been aggressive about it (we have videos if you would like to see). I don't like my ears looked at, and have some problems with them, but I won't let my vet see them, and my parents have to sneek the ear drops when I'm sleeping!
The only reason I have to find my own place is because I'm not kitty-friendly, I had a doggy friend before I got adopted, but am a really rough player and can't play with older dogs. If you are looking for an adventure buddy, I'm your guy! I love car rides and adventures!
Please reach out to my parents and set up some time to meet me! They love me very much and want to make sure I go to the right people.
