Biography

Hi! This little sweetie is affectionately named Indica (Indie, for short). Indica was physically thrown from a car in our neighborhood a few months back, and I was able to scoop her up and take her to the vet where she was checked out and given vaccines. Vet estimated her to be about 4 years old. She was starving. Weighing at about 5lbs - but she is now at a proper weight for her breed/frame! She is absolutely super friendly. She has not even attempted to nip anyone, but she will give lots of kisses! She's only met two dogs and she's acted a bit weird around them but hasn't bit or growled. Interactions with cats are unknown. She is lovely with everyone she meets - including babies and kids! I've been fostering her with hopes to keep her, but I am allergic and have recently lost my job, so it is time for her to find her forever home. I've been working with her as much as possible. She is great on leash, off leash sometimes but still working on commands, and uses potty pads when inside. Crate trained but still sad inside one. She needs a lot more formal training - but I think she will get there! She is good getting a bath, but she absolutely detests getting her nails trimmed. Her nails were recently trimmed and it took a lot of work for the groomer to get it done. She may have experienced some trauma with her paws. I have pet bowls, dog beds, crate, leashes, harness, collar, etc., that come with her so she is comfortable transitioning. An ideal family will have experience with rescues, a lot of patience, and a backyard for her to play in! I've loved her since I found her, and I want only the best for this little one <3
