Biography

Perseus was found near the Arizona Mexico border about 7 1/2 years ago. Percy has been with us since he was found. He is an older dog possibly 11 to 13 years old. He just had a vet check up and he is healthy. he had an ear infection but the medication provided by the doctor is cleared that up.

Hank and Perseus are both large male neutered dogs. Both are 10+ years or older. They have lived in a single family home with children, teenagers, other pets like cats, rabbits, etc. for the seven plus years they’ve been with us. Due to unforeseen health issues we lost our home. Perseus has hip arthritis starting but other wise is very healthy says the vet at his last appointment in April 2024. On the other hand Hank is active and likes to play. Both dogs enjoy napping, cuddling, and treats (human food and dog food). The boys have been together for over seven years, but have no problems adjusting to new environments. Perseus (Percy) prefers calm dogs, but he has been around youthful/hyper teenage like puppies (Great Dane & Pitbull). Both dogs are accustomed to living with Chihuahuas, rabbits, and Chiweenie. Neither dog chews nor are they destructive but they do love to sit on the couch leaving a trail of drool or hair. Hank believes he’s a lapdog. They both dislike fireworks.
