Biography

I took Dior in after my father passed away. I already had 2 other dogs, which was more than enough but Dior stole my heart.

He is a very sweet boy, but he needs to be the only pet. He has behavior issues that none of my other dogs exhibit. He seems to be very jealous and somewhat territorial of his favorite things (his food, his favorite toy)

Last year, I had to separate him and my other dog due to aggression issues.

This week I’ve had to separate him from my 5 pound poodle with whom he’d had been inseparable with since they met.

He is very skiddish and scared of new people. He most definitely will bark, but will back up and essentially “run” away from a new human until he feels safe and confident enough to approach. Usually this takes about 5-10 minutes.

He is not aggressive towards humans.

He is however, very scared of new ones.

From my understanding, he ran away for two days before being found and reunited with my father’s family.

I don’t what happened in those two days but I am certain this is why he acts the way he does.

Like I said before, he is NOT aggressive towards humans

I’m hoping there is someone out there who knows what kind of training he needs because I know he can be such a good dog.

He truly is such a huge sweetheart, but he cannot be with another pet.

I wish so bad I had the means to properly train him, I never wanted to go down this route but at the same time, I would love if he could go to the perfect home where he could thrive and be the huge, clumsy loving self that he is at heart.
